Our collegial and friendly research group (Prof. Hashemolhosseini, Chair Prof. Wegner) is interested in molecular physiological and pathophysiological aspects of skeletal muscle biology; in particular also muscular dystrophies, myopathies, myasthenias and muscle tumors (rhabdomyosarcoma).

A broad spectrum of molecular and cell biological methods, transgenic mouse models and diagnostic analysis of patient material will be used.
Qualification profile
We are looking for motivated applicants from the field of biochemistry/biology/chemistry/molecular medicine for a PhD project.
